    Dear Ian,

I find it great to hear from you. Sorry I haven't written for so long, I've had a lot of work to do. I'm writing to tell you my news.

First of all, I'm getting good marks at high school as I study almost every day. I also enjoy leisure time: I've joined a new drama school and I've adapted perfectly to this place.

All the members of my family are OK even though my granny has been hospitalized for a week as she had back problems. However, she's now at home and it has turned out to be a bad anecdote, so don't worry, she's a strong woman!

Also, as I'm rehearsing two plays three times a week and, what is more, I have to study a lot, I haven't got much time for other occupations like going to the gym or doing yoga, which I love as it helps me to relax. Nevertheless, hanging out with friends is necessary for me.

Well I'd better finish off here. And don't worry, I'm sure you and your new friends from Manchester will hit it off. Anyway, we will, by no means, stop talking to each other. Waiting for your email.

    Yours,
    Raúl

    Hi Gonzalo,

How are you? And your family? I have not heard from you for months. I hope you are well. Currently, I'm a memeber of a Charanga "El Chispazo" of Mislata. Yesterday, I was rehearsing with them, but there were scores that I had never played and I didn´t know the lyrics of any of them. We will do 6 acts plus the "Ofrenda" in Fallas. And what takes me most of my time is doing homework and studying.

Here in Mislata they are building two very tall buildings in front of my high-school, also there was also a fire in Manises, but fortunately there weren´t injuries.

In my free time, I go with some friends to play the ajerdrez, I also review the trumpet and go to the band of Mislata to play.

And something very interesting that happened three days ago was that we took an excursion from the Biology course to the Faculty, and there I learned many fantastic things. The microscopic world is very interesting!

I hope you receive this letter as soon as possible; and don't worry, we'll keep in touch!

    Take care,
    Jorge

  4. Dear Xavier,

I’ve been really nervous waiting for your mail. Since you left Spain, we have only talked twice! It took you ages to reply my last email, if you had taken a little longer, I would have thought you were dead 😊, but, now, I’m very happy! You have told me that, finally, you have settled in. That’s great! You’ve left a void in our lives. Just a few words about me.

Here! Everything is as usual, I’m up to my exams and I’m writing this email a little late, I’m so sorry for the long delay for the response but, do you know that yesterday I had three consecutive exams? I didn´t sleep at night, I was so worried... I’ll finish exams next week then I’ll text you then.

I won’t depress you with my personal tasks so I’ll tell you something different. Last weekend, I went with some friends to place where you could pay to jump on trampolines, it was such a fun activity that we were jumping all the time and, finally, we were tired and short of breath.

These are my news at the moment, these aren’t too much great but here there are☹. I’d like to tell you another thing, do you remember Lisa, our first-grade mate? I’ve listened she’s moving to a new house in Manchester next week. You could contact her!

Well, that’s all for now. I’ll wait your response, and I hope that it’s very long. Give my regards to everyone.

    By for now, Daniel.

    Do you met new friends?

    Here,we miss you so much.
Lately, after you move on to Manchester,I've been working very hard to get good marks. My parents were very happy for my effort so now, they let me do more things like go to parties with our friends,go out at night, they buy me more things, etc.
But this isn't all, when i have some free time, i'm still drawing,as always, that is my favourite hobby and you know it.
What do you do now in your spare time? Do you have some hobby?

I'm waiting for your email, and i hope that we keep in touch,

    Bye for now,
    Noelia.

  6. Dear Jordan,
Sorry I haven't written for so long, but I was very busy, so now I am writing to tell you my news.

There have been a lot of changes in my life since we last spoke. In 2017, my parents divorced and I moved into my grandparents' house with my mum and my sister.

Last year, I started post-secondary education so I don't have a lot of time for leisure. I met Noelia the year that you moved into Manchester, and we hit it off, now she is my best friend and I spend a lot of time with her.

At this moment, I don't have any particular new hobby, I like meeting my friends, watching series, listening to music... However, my sister Keyra has started dancing with Lorena, Noelia's sister, at an academy.

Well, that's all for now. Give my regards to everyone and write back about your news.
    Best wishes,
    Lori

  7. Hi Lisa,
It's taken me ages to reply but I've been very busy helping my parents at the bar. I'm writing to tell you how things are going.

I've been very sick at Christmas so I didn't enjoy my holidays at all. Now I'm recovered and in a few days I'll be organising Chinese New Year's display. This year it's on 5th February so I suppose the event will be that weekend.
I also redecorated my room. I was very excited about that because I really enjoy doing that kind of things! I'm sure you'll love it when you see it, it's the room we've always wanted.
But not all is going as well as you think, I'm very stressed about post-secondary education because next week I have a lot of exams and projects and I don't know how to organise my time.

Well, what about you? Have you made friends in Manchester? We miss you too, I hope you can come back soon.

    Keep in touch,
    Sofía.

    Dear Paula,

How are you? It's taken me ages to reply but post-secundary education is harder than I thought and I don't have a lot of free time.

I'm sorry because the last time we met I promised you I would write to you more. I'm writing to share some things going on my life and ask how what you are doing as well.

Now that I'm in voluntary education, studying for school takes all my time. I spend my days between my high school and my bedroom doing projects, homework or just studying the eleven subjects I have. The hardest subject in this grade is history, I have the same teacherwho I had in my first two years of high school and it's driven my nuts because I have to study history more than fourty hours a week! My problem is the time, I had to give up sports and now I'm studying or playing the violin. But at least, I'm happy because even I study a ton, I'm getting good grades.

Talking about music, I have to tell you that this Saturday, I'm going take two violins exams! I'm very nervous and I'm praying every day to have good luck on the special day, I'm going to play two pieces of each volum alone and one piece with my classmates. If you want I could film some videos fore you.

Thank you very much for the birthday letter, and also I'm very thankful for your call. As I said to you, I spent the whole day with my family and after the afternoon snack with my grandparents I came home and I ordered Thai food in a restaurant called Padthaifood, If you come this summer, we have to go because it's very good!

Anyways, I think that's about it for now.

Give the best regards to everyone and I hope to hear back from you soon.

    I miss you, take care

    Ara

P.S.Please you have to send more Keko's pictures, he is the cutest dog I've ever seen.

  18. Dear Karen,

Sorry I haven´t written for so long because I´m very busy. Just a few words to tell you what is happening in my life.

But first, how are you? All of us miss you. How is your life in Manchester?
I hope you are very well in your new life in Manchester.

Nowadays, some things changed. This summer I started a relationship with a girl that studies in my school bu we met this year. Also, I started post-secondary education. I´m learning many things but it´s more difficult than secondary education.

In the afternoons, I meet with friends or my girlfriend(sometimes both the same afternoon), I study or I go to the gym. I joined it last week and when I return home I´m very tired.

In the evenings I do my homework and I play videogames with friends rarely because I don´t have much time.

Well, that´s all for now. I think that I have told you all, but I want to hear your news. Keep in touch.

    Take care,
    Alex.
