My name is Raúl Mas González and this is my blog, The Flying Beetle. Welcome!I work as an English (EFL) teacher at IES La Moreria, a state secondary school in València, Spain. As a teacher, it is my goal to build a genuine connection with my students to facilitate their personal and academic development.
My love of teaching has led me to pursue a career as a teacher trainer as well. My experience in this field includes lecturing on EFL didactics and methodology at the University of the Balearic Islands (2010-2015), teaching specialized courses (CLIL), delivering workshops at national training events and coordinating training programmes.
Among my professional and research interests are EFL instruction, the analysis and design of teaching materials, motivation research and testing.
The Flying Beetle contains resources and materials for the EFL classroom. It is mainly aimed at my students but feel free to use anything you consider to be useful, whether you are a student or a teacher. Enjoy!
